Recipe: Mint Tea

Mint Tea Recipe

Cool off with this refreshing herbal tea.

Ingredients:

  • 6 cups boiling water
  • 4 small tea bags
  • 6 to 8 sprigs mint
  • 1/2 cup sugar or the equivalent in artificial sweetener
  • 3/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup orange juice
  • 8 cups water

Instructions:

  1. Pour 3 cups boiling water over tea bags and mint; steep for 15 minutes.
  2. Strain tea.
  3. In a separate container, mix sugar, lemon juice and orange juice. Pour 3 cups boiling water over this.
  4. Combine mixtures. Add remaining water, mix well. Chill and serve with ice.

Makes 120 ounces or 10 12-ounce servings
