Banana Nut Oatmeal

• 2 cups fat-free milk
• 1/8 teaspoon salt
• 1 ½ cups water
• 2 cups quick cooking oats
• 2 ripe bananas, peeled and mashed
• 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
• 2 Tablespoons honey or brown sugar
• 2 Tablespoons chopped almond

1. Combine milk, salt, and water in a small saucepan and heat over medium heat until steaming, but not boiling.
2. Add oats and cook, stirring until creamy, for 1-2 minutes.
3. Remove pan from heat and stir in banana, cinnamon, and honey or brown sugar.
4. Top with chopped nuts and serve warm
