UGA Extension is hosting a mid-season vineyard management workshop at Wolf Mountain Vineyards & Winery in Dahlonega, GA on Wednesday, June 28th from 10:00am – 4:00pm. We will discuss post-veraison considerations for wine grape vineyard management.
The schedule is as follows:
- 10:00- Mid- and late-season canopy and crop load management, canopy scouting, and monitoring ripeness – Cain Hickey, UGA
- 10:40- Mid- and late-season vineyard insect management- Brett Blaauw, UGA
- 11:20- Mid- and late-season disease management- Phil Brannen, UGA
- 12:00- Lunch
- 1:00- Roundtable grower discussion with UGA Extension Viticulture Team– UGA Extension agents and specialists
