The 42nd American Society of Enology and Viticulture / Eastern Section (ASEV/ES) Conference will be held from July 10-12, 2017 in Charlottesville, VA.

This conference showcases very applied viticulture and enology research that has been conducted by research/extension specialists and graduate students from leading eastern US academic institutions. The special industry workshop this year, “Pioneering Wine Grape Varieties Adapted to the Challenges of the East”, makes this conference especially applicable to industry members in Georgia and other southeastern US states.
Several UGA Extension Viticulture Team members, including myself, will be attending this meeting.
I would urge anyone involved in the grape and wine industry to consider attending this conference.
