About Us

IMG_845Jessica Warren serves as the University of Georgia Agriculture and Natural Resources Agent for Camden County.  Jessica has a Bachelor’s of Science in Forest Resources with a concentration in Wildlife and a Master’s of Natural Resources with a focus on Conservation Education, both from the University of Georgia.  Her previous work experience includes working for the University of Tennessee’s Tree Improvement Program as a Research Associate funded by a National Science Foundation grant, teaching Environmental Science and Natural Resources in the Georgia Governor’s Honors Program, and a graduate assistantship at Athens-Clarke County Public Utilities creating and implementing a county-wide K-12 water conservation education program and curriculum. Jessica is a member of UGA’s Statewide Water Committee and serves as the state chair for the Georgia Association of County Agricultural Agents’ Aquaculture/Sea Grant Committee. Jessica can be reached at the Camden Office at 912-576-3219. Her email is jkwarren@uga.edu.

William Lovett is a University of Georgia Cooperative Extension faculty member. He is the Agriculture and Natural Resources agent in Bacon County, Georgia. Will received his Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Georgia. After graduation Will accepted employment with Purina Mill, LLC. During his five (5) years with Purina Will focused on ration formulation and technical assistance to central Georgia dairy producers.  After Purina, Will spent fifteen (15) years managing a Dairy farm in southeast Georgia.  During that time he served as a member of the board of directors for Southeast Milk, Inc., Southeast DHIA and Georgia Milk Producers.  Will has been a University of Georgia Cooperative Extension agent since July of 2013.  He is currently assigned to Bacon County, Georgia, known as Georgia’s Blueberry capital.  Bacon County is a diversified agricultural county with Blueberries, Row Crops, Forage and Forestry as leading crops.  Will is a member of UGA’s Forage Team and a regular contributor to the Forage Team Newsletter.  He has an active role in Blueberry research conducted in Bacon County.  Mr. Lovett serves as an officer for the Southeast Georgia Cattlemen’s Association.  He resides in Patterson, Georgia with his wife and son. Will can be reached at the Bacon County Office at (912) 632-5601. His email is welovett@uga.edu.
