Earlier this week I had the opportunity to travel to Columbus Georgia for the GACAA State Meeting. I would like to share a few highlights with you.
Eric Prostko and I developed and entered a poster in the Applied Research Category on flumioxazin formulations in peanut. Take a look:
Evaluation of Flumioxazin Formulations for Weed Control in Peanut
Many of you tried out new formulations this year on your peanuts and several of you were not pleased with the results. Dr. Prostko decided to put in some research trials in Tifton to collect data on this. Though there were differences in the amount of stunting there was no statistical difference in yield.
During the Annual Awards Banquet I was recognized for outstanding contributions to the cotton industry and was awarded the Junior King Cotton Award.
