For the first time, the National Centers for Environmental Information (NCEI) has maps of temperature and precipitation anomalies available by counties.  In the past you could get it by state, region, and climate division, but nothing smaller. This might be useful for those who are interested in county statistics rather than using station data, since some counties in the Southeast do not have a weather station located within the county. You can access the 2017 annual temperature and precipitation anomalies (differences from average conditions) at https://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/sotc/national/2017/13/supplemental/page-3/. A lot of variability in Georgia this year!
