Traffic in advance of Monday’s total solar eclipse is already causing blockages of some roads leading into and out of the region of totality. Dairy farmers there depend on regular movement of trucks into and out of the area to bring in feed and take away milk, so they have been concerned about how the excess traffic will affect their operations. Dairy Herd Management has an interesting article this week describing some of the steps dairy producers there have taken to assure that they will be able to handle the constricted roads.  You can read it at https://www.dairyherd.com/news/industry/oregon-idaho-dairies-preparing-eclipse.
