The latest 7-day QPF forecast shows seasonal rainfall over most of the Southeast, with the driest areas in the northern half of the region. This is probably a good thing after the rain that has hit the area from post-tropical storm Cindy this week. Cooler temperatures should also reduce stress across the region. The Florida peninsula will see the highest amounts, and the lowest amounts will be in eastern Virginia with no rain expected once Cindy leaves.
