Jason Samenow of the Washington Post‘s Capital Weather Gang posted a story this week about the record-setting warmth that we have been experiencing in recent years. The story is based on statistical work done by Deke Arndt of NOAA’s National Centers for Environmental Information and looks at a number of different time scales.
