NOAA released their monthly summary for November this week.  It shows that overall, November was the 5th warmest on record for the globe.  The fall period September to November 2016 was the second warmest on record after last year’s El Niño-enhanced temperatures.  With one month to go, the year to date is still on pace to be the warmest on record, slightly surpassing 2015.  You can read more information at https://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/sotc/summary-info/global/201611.  The WunderBlog also has a story here.
