The National Weather Service’s Southeast River Forecast Center Outlook is now available on YouTube.  It’s about ten minutes long and covers both short and long-term water conditions, including drought, floods, and tropical storms as well as La Niña.  You can watch it at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RKzSZAyOFuw&feature=youtu.be.

One of the more interesting things in the outlook was the model results from the European model, which suggest that we may not go into a La Niña but hover in neutral conditions, which could affect our winter outlook.  Only one model, but it indicates that the long-term predictions are not as sure as we might believe.
