The latest model forecasts for Quantitative Precipitation show a bulls’ eye of rain in Alabama and Georgia lasting from Saturday night until Tuesday. Rain associated with a slowly moving low pressure center will douse the area with up to several inches of rain. So make the most of this weekend–Friday and Saturday should be dry in most parts of the Southeast, and dry conditions will return by mid-week.
