The pesky upper level low that is currently dumping streams of rain across South Carolina, northern Georgia and adjoining areas is moving very slowly and will continue to bring heavy rain to the region for the next couple of days.  You can see the progression of the low in the daily rainfall maps at https://www.wpc.ncep.noaa.gov/qpf/day1-7.shtml.

Once the low moves off to the northeast, dry conditions should cover almost all of the Southeast on Tuesday through Thursday.  A slight increase in the chance of rain returns late in the week.  Farmers in southern Georgia and Alabama should be out in the fields working throughout the week as precipitation there is predicted to be much lighter than northern regions.
