Saturday will be the wettest day of the week, with showers associated with a front moving through the Southeast.  Unfortunately, this rain will also hit the already rain-soaked regions of South Carolina, adding insult to injury in those sodden areas.  Once the front is past, it looks like the rest of the week will be dry for the vast majority of the Southeast, with the exception of some possible light showers on Monday into Tuesday.  The dry conditions are sorely needed for farmers who need to harvest peanuts and cotton or plant winter forage.
