Yesterday NOAA released their latest global climate summary for July 2015.  The summary showed that for global temperatures, this year’s July was the warmest in the 136-year instrumental record.  The average January through July global temperature was also the hottest in the 136-year record.

On the NOAA webinar yesterday, scientists noted that with the El Nino still developing in the eastern Pacific Ocean, 2015 as a whole is highly likely (better than 99%) to be the warmest year ever recorded.
