One of the stories that has not been widely reported in the news about the Buffalo snowstorm is the impact on local dairies. AgWeb listed a story from Dairy Today which indicates that a number of dairies in the affected area are dumping milk because the milk trucks were unable to get through the badly snarled traffic to make their usual pickups.  Even though the area that is directly affected by the heavy snow is fairly narrow, the impacts have had a much wider effect.  Some producers are also worried about the weight of the snow on their roofs and the potential for catastrophic collapse.  You can read the story here.
