Volunteer for 4-H!

Volunteers throughout Georgia support our mission of assisting youth in acquiring knowledge, developing life skills and forming attitudes that will enable them to become self-directing, productive and contributing citizens. From serving as a chaperone at 4-H Summer Camp to leading a special interest team, 4-H offers a variety of opportunities for volunteer service in youth development programming. We hope you’ll find your niche with us and share your time and talents in building our next generation of leaders!

There are a number of special interest clubs (i.e. show team, judging teams, etc.) in Burke County where the 4-H staff can help you put your talents to work. In order to serve as a volunteer at any 4-H event or activity, you will need to become a Certified Volunteer. To begin this process, please complete the Volunteer Agreement and the Volunteer Screening Application and return them to your local county extension office. The 4-H staff will then assist you in completing the certification process.
