Just want to remind you about the Peanut Shade Tree Meeting tomorrow, July 30, 2015 at 10:00 am. The meeting will be held at Smith-Healy Farms (Jeff Lanier), Wade Hodges peanut field, located at 5668 Banks Dairy Road, Statesboro, GA 30458. (Look for Peanut Meeting sign posted at entrance)

The peanut field is located behind the pecan orchard. We will meet in pecan orchard behind the shelters and white house. We will meet under the shelter if it happens to be raining.
Dr. Bob Kemerait, Plant Pathologist, and Dr. Eric Prostko, Weed Scientist, will be in attendance to discuss current peanut disease and weed issues. Dr. Kemerait will also discuss current cotton leafspot issues and soybean rust movement in the southeast.
